Self-Employed Health Insurance

Posted on Friday, February 29, 2008 in Goodies Bag, Health

Well, everyone who is employed or called as an employee will certainly covered by the PERKESO if you are working in my country unless your income are more than what they rules out which is around RM 3,000.00 if I am not mistaken or their guidelines have not been change lately. But what if you are self employed? Of course when you own a business, you will not have any covered from the PERKESO thus Self-Employed Health Insurance can help you in this matter! Well, one bad new is that they are only offering to those who are working and living in New York but hey, maybe next time you will be opening your own business in New York City, who knows? Get yourself equipped with information first before anything!

Actually this is my first time I encounter self-employed health insurance package. In order to qualify for this health insurance, one must be self employed and work a minimum of 20 hours per week and earn at least a minimum wage, of course they will need to know if you were able to pay the monthly or annual payment or not. It is actually quite easy to apply for the insurance package. You will only require to choose the county, then select your status and last but not least choose your annual income to get instant quote. Then they will be showing you a few plan whereby you can actually choose your plan before proceeding and after filling some information on your particular, click on the submit button for the application. That is all! Simple and fast. Do check it out if you are self employed and if you are not insured yet, get one for yourself right away.
