In order to avoid marrying to Tufan (Tibet), the spoiled Princess Chieu Yeung (Charmaine Sheh) hurriedly searched for a Fu Ma (prince consort). The person-in-charge of goldsmith store Ting Loi Hei (Susanna Kwan) volunteered as their family 2nd son Gum Do Luk (Moses Chan) and 3rd son Gum Do Sau (Raymond Wong) are still single. She hopes that the marriage will solve their financial crisis. The brothers are close to each other and in order to save their family business, Do Luk agreed to the marriage. They did not expect the Princess to be so domineering and arrogant after arriving into their family. She requested for Gum family to bow and practice royal formalities toward her. Even the highest authority in Gum family Grand Madame Gum could not escape it. In addition, the Princess’ handmaiden Szeto Ngan Ping (Fala Chen) has an overbearing attitude and disrespects everyone, including official matchmaker Ting Yau Wai (Kenneth Ma). The Gum family refused to be bullied and united to rise against them. However, Gum family servant girl Ng Sei Dak (Linda Chung) who was known for her super strength betrayed them and stood on the Princess side. The Princess versus Fu Ma; their repeated fighting and reconciliation; using all sorts of tricks and methods. In the end, their fight was brought to the royal palace and the Emperor have quell them down himself… Marrying a royal princess, of course you hope to enjoy riches, but marrying a spoiled princess, can endurance really turn into gold?

Eager to covet the plant site, LEUNG has placed a spy FONG LAI-KING (Zhao Ziqi) in the factory to wreak havoc. To make LEUNG give up on his acquisition plan, SUM decides to reveal a long-kept secret to him. Involved in firearms transaction, the “Big Gangster” was murdered, the CID female senior inspector CHOW KWOK KUEN (Pinky Cheung) felt the situation was unusual, vigorously inspected the case. During the time, cold-blooded shootout happened in town and armed robberies, Inspector Chow had a reason to believe that these were related to the firearms transaction. She quickly asked YEUNG WAI SAM (Jackie Lui) to be the undercover, but he refused to provide the information that he found, causing Inspector Chow to be greatly displeased. The related case is actually involved with the triad community, as the person up top who has power to make decisions in the triad, LAI TAK CHUNG (Berg Ng) knew the case is very serious involving firearms. The police will crack it down to the end, so he had other plans to distract the police in investing the wrong path. Inspector Chow has to ask SAM to help her again, but sense that SAM is starting to get off track, making the mission serious. The senior inspector quickly took action and sent out a female undercover SUEN MING WAH (Jo Koo) to get close to SAM.

CHUNG’s old partner’s son came back from the States for vacation and was involved in drug abuse and rape of young girls, there is a high possibility that he’ll get a death sentence and needed attorney TONG KA MING (Kenneth Chan)’s help, MING and Mainland lawyer worked together to legally overcome the death sentence in court. Once he wins the case, MING will gain more of CHUNG’s trust. CHUNG knew that Police won’t give up on the narcotics case, so he secretly sent off the most high profile subordinates away and thus giving more opportunities to SAM in working for him. SAM secretly investigated and found out about the secret sent off, then told WAH about it. WAH reported the information to her boss and started a battle of wits with CHUNG. Under FONG CHI HO (Lawrence Ng) complete support, the most important case is under his hands. HO will be battling in court with MING to see if he can really make CHUNG suffer the consequences of law.

Meanwhile, SAM and WAH started developing a closer relationship, WAH is starting to understand SAM’s inner world and soon the two developed a relationship…

Synopsis:

Rushing along the road every day with a vibrant mix of passengers of all kinds, what taxi drivers see and hear is far more varied than one can ever imagine. PO CHUNG-LING (Steven Ma) was born in Jinan a family of New Year print. He is very bright, his father, PO POON (Yueh Hua), has therefore always hoped that he could one day carry on the family business. LING, mistakenly thinks that POON is working in collusion with some corrupt officials, refuses to listen to what his father says. His good friend, KO JIT (Chan Kam Hung), is a constable and he hates corrupt officials as much as LING does. Rumor has it that a fox spirit is creating troubles in Jinan. LING is almost killed when he is investigating into the matter with JIT. Fortunately, a mysterious girl named LING WU SIU-TSUI (Fala Chen) comes to his rescue in the nick of time. It turns out later that she is the fox spirit, and that she saves LING so as to return a past favor. As they spend more and more time together, TSUI starts to fall for LING.

The PO family has secured a large order of New Year print. To ensure the work can be finished in time they have to hire a large numbers of female workers. LAU SUM-YU (Linda Chung) applies for the job, but her real intention is to look for the man who was unfaithful to her sister, never knowing that she would later be caught in a love triangle with LING and JIT.
