The new colleague that suppose to help me and assist me when I go for my maternity leave resigned last Saturday and you know what..sent an sms to my another colleague saying that she been hospitalized on Monday (6 April) and will be on medical leave for the whole week until Friday (10 April). Well we buy her excuse as we really thought she was really not well that but yesterday I received an email from her with her resignation letter which was sent to me on Saturday (11 April).

My colleague told me that she sent her a sms on Thursday,no reply from her..and she even called her yesterday morning when we did not see her early in the morning because I check my mail..no one answer the call..how irresponsible people can be..if you wanted to resign, please do it in a proper manner..give us a call, send us a sms or at least give us a notification before hand.

She send me the email on Saturday and stated that her last day would be on Friday..if according to the contract, she owed the company 24 hours and not to mention, she did not give me any medical leave certification to prove that she been hospitalized..in which she been absent from work for that whole week..sigh…and now I have to find a new person to take over her things fast!!

I so need to have a vacation right now..maybe some Vegas vacations to release my tension!

Someone actually asked me how the hell I can convert all my work in the MS. Word into an e-book. I been doing this for quite some times, almost 4 years when my boss starts on his new company. Being the only staff there that handles paperwork, I will need to figure out all paper work related jobs that require me to handles and of course when its comes to  minimizing my work, shorten the time frame and making thing simple, I need to crack my head just to figure it out.

Most of the time, I will need to send out some document in a book form but since I do not like to password proctected it and even want the client to see how messy the document is inside the MS. WORD, I starts to find way to change it to another file format. I search up and down for the best and easy software, which is a freeware and convert all the document into PDF file. Not only that, I even use it to convert a large picture file into a smaller file size to enable me to send it out to my client.

Just open up the MS word or MS. Excel that you wanted to convert. Eg as above.

After you install the Freeware, it will be listed as a printer, from MS. Word, press print and choose the Freeware.

Save the file as PDF and rename the file if you want. As per my sample, I rename it to “How to convert MS Word to PDF”.

and the result. Tara! a PDF format. Easy right? You can convert the whole MS document file which contain maybe more than 100 pages using the same technique.

I was on medical leave today as I did not feel well as I did not have a good night sleep yesterday night. Even though I did not go to work, I still went out the whole day as one of my friend were having problem with her company website. After 17 days and a post on the withdrawal pending by Paypal, as of today 11 February 2008, finally I saw the “completed” status appear in my Paypal Account! What a big relief as I had this though that I will not be seeing my money for more than a month!

Anyway, it is really something BIG that Paypal need to look into as its effect a lot of Paypal user and this matter really tarnish our trust on Paypal. How to trust them when every single time I sent them an email asking on the status and what I get in return are those automatically set-up for the customer service personnel which gives the same reason each time? I sent twice to them but each time came back with different personnel without giving me any other answers except that they will that it is a known problem and will be fixing it very soon. I Googled up the problem and noticed that Paypal actually promised that they will settle the problem in 72 hours (hopefully).

So, mine is settled! Hopefully my next withdrawal will not have such problem again as I could not wait so long for it!

I had been working my ass off days and night and what I get are some F8ck faces for me to look at every single day except saturday where only me, Princess Neshimaru and my hubby, who’s kind enough to accompany us in the office whereby all other will be at home snoring like a pig and of course, the great Sunday, where I do not even need to hear the “office” word.

The whole week was a shitty one as all the a**hole (s) seem to be so too free till the extend whereby they can walk around chatting, playing games in the office, going somewhere else for don’t-know-what purpose but 100% confirmed its not works related.

Not even they do not offer their supporting hands, but instead they still dumped their shitty work to us and they continue to shake their legs during the days.

Let not call them colleague, as colleague are a word of those people who WORK in the same place as we are. Since they are not working and only dump all the shit everywhere to everyone. I shall crowned them as the Poo Popper!
